Hello everyone!

Presenting the second issue of Notes on the Scene. We packed lots of images, articles, and an expanded festival guide into this edition. Some of it is on the serious/ political side because of the positive feedback we got from you.

Last year, in issue one, we covered how the rave act, aimed at destroying live music gatherings, was introduced by Joe Biden— a democrat who is trying to gain popularity— perhaps to run for President. This time we interview Angel Raich who took the case for medical marijuana to the us supreme court and lost; she talks to you about the fight for her life.

We also interview Tony Vacca, one of the most exciting drummers/world musicians on our scene today. We touch upon festivals and gathering in several different ways.

American Idol is now one of the top entertainment choices in America; it also rivals voting turnouts compared to real politics...I can only say I hope to see you out at real entertainment events. Make sure you check out the festival guide and tour dates on our website. Keep gathering!

All the best,
Jen Rog
Greetings,

Welcome to the 2nd Issue of Notes on the Scene. You may have noticed we changed from 48 pages to 64. We also raised our distribution due to the great response we got on Issue 1. Keep telling us how we are doing!

Issue 2 is packed full of important stories and information for the scene and beyond.

This issue is dedicated to our friends in Michigan from Rainbow Farm. There is an article, along with a book review, finally telling their story five years later. Tom and Rollie will not be forgotten. Robert, you are in our hearts and hopes.
Know Your Rights is back by popular demand. As are the musings of the Middle Age Dude. We consider possible fraud at the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival among many other great articles.

This is sure to be a great festival season and I am looking forward to meeting many of you on the road. We mostly distribute by hand, so look for me and the crew at a venue near you!

Please share it with your friends if you like it. Also, please support our advertisers and let them know you saw them in Notes. Be safe, have fun and see you all on down the road.

Become the media,
Rob Robinson
