About Notes on the Scene

Notes on the Scene is a FREE PUBLICATION about the live music culture and the scene created as a result. Our talented writers and visual artists cover festivals, events, news and politics that effect our lives and our culture. Notes is distributed throughout the east coast live music circuit and select locations around the country and beyond. Our mission is to give our scene a voice, a face, an outlet and much more. Notes is for those of us already in the scene, and those that have yet to understand us.

Also, please read the letter from our editor which appeared in our first issue: Letter from Matthew Rick whcih explains a lot about us as well.
